Because Togai would have to count and meter the usage events occurring on your product, you would have to create an event schema and a usage meter for each of the factors you're pricing your customers on.
Here's how you can create an event schema and a usage meter.
SCENARIO 1 - Customers sign up and pay as they go with no minimum commitment
The usage meters configured would have to be attached to a pricing plan through the pricing plan builder.
For this config, the usage based fee would be collected at the end of the billing cycle and the fee would be calculated based on the tiers defined above.
SCENARIO 2 - Customers pay a subscription fee for which they receive some amount of usage free and overages apply once these limits are exceeded
For this set up, you would have to create a fixed fee add on through the billable items menu.
For this config, 1000 usage units is included every month with the monthly subscription of $99 and overages apply for consumption of usage units beyond 1000. The subscription fee is collected in the beginning of the cycle and the overages are collected at the end of the cycle. You can also set the subscription fee to be collected at the end of the cycle if needed.
